Beautiful work everyone.

Calendar - Tote Bags - OktoberSo its autumn. 5 months ago i thought my world was ending.
Now i think it was a good thing to happen. Long before the break, the whole relationship was only a pseudo-love-thing.
I think, I wouldn't have done this step. I'm someone who stays unhappy till the rest of his life before i would break someones heart.
So he did it. You feel like a piece of shit in the first weeks. Worthless, forgotten. These feelings are still there but its ok.
I'm more active than before. I'm loosing weight, eat more healthy, go to the gym. Bought me a car and now i'm driving really good after
6 years of none-driving. I can do all by myself. I'm someone who can keep oneself busy.
I don't miss him. I don't miss his family. Nothing.
I don't know this person anymore.
I don't care about him anymore.
People can be so rude.
I don't believe in everlasting love.
Thats bullshit.
I think I'm really rancorous. But who cares.
Got me copies of my calendar. Turned out really good.

A Dash of Drama

Today we look at the dramatic artwork. To me dramatic artwork is not trying to make a statement or a whole story. It is something deeper. And what makes it dramatic? Is it the subject? The light? Or is is more?
To me the subject and light are important but it is the "more" that is interesting. The images I picked are dramatic in the way that they refuse to tell a whole story. Yet they only hint, and the feelings that they touch off are of wonder, mystery and maybe even a hint of tragedy. You get a small tingle in your spine as you look at each one.
Perhaps I am into this type of work because recently I have taken to ready english mysteries and watching Hercule Poirot on netflix. I looked at my gallery and saw I did not take many dramatic shots. I think it is because I am a very up beat person and when I am sad it almost feels strange to me. When I was very ill last year I was depressed alot and that was down right scary!
In anycase I am hoping to add some drama to my gallery. We

Your artwork must contain some reference to the group or the group interrests (animals & anthro, including common animal symbols like paw prints and feathers)

Everybody can enter - no membership required!

All medium/media are accepted (digital, traditional, literature, animations, music, ...)

G-rated - no blood, no violence, no naughty scene, no nudity (well... no private parts)

You can enter as many times as you want, but may win one prize only

You can use your own characters, or do fan art. If you use characters from other deviants, don't forget to ask permission and to credit the artist

Entries will be judged on originality and respect of the group theme.
